From Our Hearts to Yours
To our very valued clients and the Star Valley community:
Animal health and welfare is the cornerstone of our purpose here at Bridger Animal Hospital. We care deeply about the human-animal bond, and the role veterinary teams play in bolstering that bond. Our mission is to provide exceptional care to the animals of this valley, every hour, every day, and every year, as we have been doing since 2003.
Currently, we are facing the massive challenge of keeping up with the unprecedented growth of this beautiful valley we all call home. We have increased our staff numbers to the maximum we can possibly hold in this building. We have increased our phone capacities with the intention of trying to help as many people as possible. We have two full time veterinarians and two part time veterinarians, with another full-time veterinarian starting the end of August. We reserve time in our schedule to treat emergent cases, and those slots are filled almost immediately on a daily basis. We also offer drop off appointments for urgent cases to be seen in between scheduled appointments. We quite literally have done everything in our power to serve the veterinary needs of this valley. And yet, we are still unable to meet those daily needs.
We want you all to know that it pains us greatly to turn any sick animal away. The entire reason each and every staff member works here is to provide help to animals in need. Every single one of our doctors, technicians, and receptionists work in the veterinary industry because we love animals, and we love to help them and their people. When we have to refer a patient to another veterinarian it is absolutely only because we cannot physically provide care for one more patient that day. It is never because we won’t or refuse, but that we literally can’t. To do so would be to sacrifice the quality of care each patient deserves, and that is not something we are willing to do.
Please hear our hearts when we say we are doing our very best. We love your pets. We love the people of this valley. And we love our home. Our request for our very valued clients is to please be patient and kind with us as we try to provide the best care possible to your beloved animals. Sometimes that means referring your pets to another wonderful and capable veterinary office in our area. Rest assured, we will do everything in our power to provide that care ourselves, however sometimes it just is not physically possible.
Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for supporting us. We love our clients. And we love our patients. Together, with grace and kindness, we can get through these trying times. And ultimately, as is our greatest desire, have heathier, happier pets as an outcome.
With gratitude,
Your Bridger Animal Hospital Staff
