Shelby Quarnberg, DVM – Associate Veterinarian
Shelby grew up in Grantsville, Utah, where she was born into a rodeo family. Dr. Quarnberg’s childhood mainly focused on raising sheep for the local county fair and being an active member of the FFA, serving as chapter president. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at Utah State University, along with a master’s degree in Animal Nutrition. Falling in love with Cache Valley, she stayed and started working at a local veterinary clinic. While working there it affirmed Shelby’s childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Dr. Q took the big leap and moved with her little dog to the Caribbean Islands to start vet school at St. George’s University. While she lived there she picked up snorkeling, working with people from different walks of life, and “failed fostered” 2 bottle kittens. Dr. Quarnberg completed her clinical year at Kansas State University in the Spring of 2025. Shelby’s passion is building connections with people and their animals, both large and small, although sheep and goats will always have a special place in her heart.
In her spare time, Dr. Shelby enjoys going on adventures with her dogs, trying out new dog sports and exploring the great outdoors. Shelby also likes gardening, going to movies, and doing puzzles. Missing the mountains and small-town feel has brought her to Star Valley where her life goal is to have a place with a garden and chickens. Dr. Q is excited to get to know everyone and become a part of this beautiful valley and community.
