Veterinary Assistant
Bonnie grew up in southern Idaho and northern Utah. After high school she headed to Ricks College and earned her associate’s degree. She then decided to pursue a life-long dream of working with horses and ended up in Jackson, Wyoming working as a dude and horse wrangler. She absolutely loved and treasured her time in Jackson, but real life came knocking and she left the peace and tranquility of the Teton Range, for the city life of Salt Lake City, Utah where she achieved her paralegal certificate at Westminster College. After completing an 18-month, Spanish speaking mission to Houston, Texas, she began working as a paralegal at a law firm in Logan, UT. With Wyoming always on her mind, and frequent visits to the ranch she used to work at, Bonnie met her future husband. They have lived in Star Valley for 20 years and have two daughters, six horses, two dogs, two cats, two goats, a heifer and a bull calf that keep her very busy. Bonnie is very excited to start this new chapter in her life and is grateful for the opportunity to be with the wonderful staff and animals at Bridger Animal Hospital and Haystack Pet Resort.
